Setup checklist
| Step | Where | Action |

Open the welcome email and set your Merchant Portal password (within 24 hours). |
Merchant Portal | Sign in at merchant.pharmalytics.skypondtech.com.
Portal → Branches | Create a branch for each pharmacy location: name, code, timezone.

Portal → Devices | Copy the activation key from the one-time dialog and store it safely.
Portal → Schedules | Set the run window per branch and workflow — days, hours, frequency. This drives the agent's wake cadence and the offline-alert window.
Portal → Notifications | Add alert recipients and turn on Agent alerts, then use Send test alert to prove delivery.
Portal → Download agent | Download PharmAutomate-Setup-<version>.exe.
Pharmacy PC | Prepare the machine: no lock screen, no screensaver, no sleep, RDP session stays attached.
Pharmacy PC | Run the installer as administrator; paste the activation key on the Activate PharmAutomate page.
Pharmacy PC | Launch PharmAutomate from the Start Menu; confirm the identity panel shows the right Device / Org / Location.
Pharmacy PC | In Settings → Worker Settings, set the DocuTrack and QS1 exe paths with Browse…, then Save.
Pharmacy PC | Open and sign in to DocuTrack and QS1/PrimeCare.
Pharmacy PC | Click Start. Allow time for the one-time Tesseract install; the badge turns ● Running.
Portal → Transactions | Confirm documents are appearing, and review anything flagged for manual review.
Portal → Devices → the device | Open the device page and watch the live log for the first few minutes.
Portal → Users (optional) | Invite read-only staff accounts scoped to their branches.
Portal → Notifications (optional) | Turn on scheduled report emails and add report recipients.
Note: Steps 6 and 7 are the ones most often skipped, and they are the two that decide whether you find out about a problem in minutes or at the end of the day.
